July 22nd, 2020–IVX Health, a national provider of infusion and injection therapy for patients with autoimmune disorders such as multiple sclerosis and other complex chronic conditions, today announced  the expansion of its infusion formulary with the addition of VYEPTI™ (eptinezumab-jjmr), the first FDA-approved IV preventive treatment for migraines in adults. IVX Health is currently accepting referrals for Vyepti in five markets (Orlando, Fla.; Tampa, Fla.; Columbus, Ohio; Nashville, Tenn.; and Harrisburg Pa.), with plans to serve additional patients in all of its 25 centers across the nation at a later date.

Neurology practices and health systems across the country trust IVX Health with the care of their patients as a safe, convenient alternative to hospital-based infusion – with the same high-quality standards and safety protocols. IVX Health reimagines the traditional experience for infusion patients with amenities such as evening and weekend appointments and guaranteed private suites that allow for proper social distancing – a meaningful benefit considering Vyepti is administered over approximately 30 minutes, with four appointments recurring every three months.

“IVX Health has provided an amazing experience to my patients that require migraine infusion treatments,“ noted Dr. Lee Peterlin, a neurologist and superspecialist in Headache Medicine at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health Physicians. “My patients receive quality care at IVX, with private suites for each patient during their infusion. IVX has an incredibly kind, helpful staff who reliably interact with both patients and the referring clinicians. I also have peace of mind knowing IVX Health centers always have an onsite nurse practitioner who oversees every encounter, ensuring a higher level of training and expertise is available if ever necessary.”

Stand-alone centers, no waiting rooms, private suites, and visits by appointment only are just a few of the ways IVX Health aims to provide the safest experience possible for its patients. Each IVX Health center is staffed to never exceed a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio, ensuring every patient receives the personal attention they deserve. In addition, IVX Health offers patients a superior level of service—with flat screen TVs, high-speed Wi-Fi, complimentary snacks, and flexible appointment times that include evenings and Saturdays.
