Why is IVX Health remodeling? What improvements are being made?

The goal of IVX Health’s architectural model is aligned with our mission: to redefine the care experience for patients with complex chronic conditions. This means updating centers to include:

  • All private suites to ensure proper social distancing
  • Family rooms for pediatric patients or those accompanied by family or friends
  • New infusion chairs that are comfortable and can recline if desired
  • A peaceful ambience and aesthetic, including updated paint, wallpaper, finishes, and artwork

What is the construction timeline for my local center?

The specific construction timelines for each center are detailed below. Please ask our team if we can provide any additional details on the remodel designs for your local center.

San Mateo

Construction on our San Mateo location will begin in May 2022, with construction crews only working evenings and weekends to minimize patient interruption. We expect all renovations will be completed by the end of July 2022.

Will construction be in progress during my care visit?

No, construction crews will only be present when the centers are closed. While you may notice some construction areas – including tools and machinery – they will always be contained within plastic dividers from the floor to ceiling. We are taking every precaution to ensure there is minimal disruption to your care visit. As always, your safety and care are our top priority.

How are the spaces being kept clean and safe during the remodel process?

Our team will continue to thoroughly clean and disinfect patient rooms before and after every patient visit. The infusion chair and every shared object will receive a deep cleaning using CaviWipes and other disinfecting agents. We also thoroughly clean all other areas at multiple intervals throughout the day, including our entryway, front desk, restrooms, and break room.

Is any contact information changing? Will I still have the same care team?

Contact information and your care team both remain the same during the remodel and rebrand process, including phone and fax numbers for local centers, the billing department, and other teams.
